Woman Meets Sad Cat, Comes Back To Cheer Him Up And Decides To Change His Life

Living on the street isn’t easy for a sweet feline. After being homeless for six long years in Minnesota, a ginger cat was taken into Animal Humane Society.

The stray feline was in bad shape; had an eye injury, chipped teeth, was covered in battle scars and sadly tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).

His resilience is inspiring; the loving furball was friendly and affectionate despite the hardship he had been through. The staff members named him Bruce Willis and immediately started looking for a forever home for him.

Bruce didn’t give up, and he was determined to catch the attention of each person who walked in the shelter. “Bruce is the sweetest and most affectionate boy around. All cheeks and love, he will brighten every day you spend with him,” the Animal Humane Society wrote.

It was the International Cat Day when Sandra came across a plea post about sweet Bruce on Facebook. The cat’s face and story captured her heart, and the next thing she did was going to pay him a visit.

When she saw him for the first time, she was smitten by his adorable look, and his sad eyes broke her heart. Since her property owner didn’t allow pets, she couldn’t take him home. As she left the shelter, she hoped Bruce would find a loving home that would treat him right.

She couldn’t shake the sad feeling of when she saw Bruce for the first time and couldn’t help but checking for him online every day. Later, Sandra learned that the poor feline had an upper respiratory infection. Following his health condition, he went back to the shelter to check up on him, and so she kept visiting him every now and then.

A month later, Sandra learned that he was still homeless, and that was the moment she knew they were meant to be. The feline lover contacted the landlord in hopes he would let her take in the adorable feline and surprisingly, he said yes!

The affectionate tabby was ecstatic to leave the shelter. Once he arrived at his new home, he adjusted in no time and started to go around the house. Bruce couldn’t stop purring and asking for cuddles, he never knew how it feels like to be truly loved and cared for.

Sandra showers him with love every day, and he is pampered for the first time in his life. Bruce likes going to sleep and wake up with his beloved mom, who rescued him from a gloomy life at the shelter.
