Woman Adopts Stray Dog That Saved Her From Attack, But She Didn’t Expect This

Vacations are meant to give us time to unwind, relax, and forget about our many daily concerns. Sadly, for Georgia Bradley, a Plymouth University student, her vacation was anything but relaxing. The woman was on holiday on the Greek island of Crete when two men attacked her. Luckily for the woman, that was exactly when a stray dog appeared out of nowhere, saved her, and chased the attackers away. The woman knew she had to do something to repay the vigilant stray.

Bradley was enjoying a calm afternoon on one of Crete’s many beaches when two men approached her. The men asked her to join them for a drink. Bradley kindly refused, when the two men began to gradually get more and more aggressive with her. One of them eventually grabbed her and tried to forcefully take her with him. Luckily that was when a dog, who was later named Pepper, appeared out of the blue and chased the two men away.

“When I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about her,” Bradley recalled in an interview with The Daily Mail  “I took the soonest flight back out that I could, which was two weeks later. It was a real risk because we may never have found her again. But when we saw Pepper on the beach, it was the best feeling ever.”

Bradley had to fly back to Greece several times to get Pepper all her papers, and officially adopt her to bring her back to the UK. Despite being time and money consuming, to Bradley, it was all well worth it. But she was in for yet another surprise.

A week after settling in her new home in the UK, Pepper gave birth to an adorable litter of six puppies! “It has been such a crazy journey. But I am over the moon. Pepper has settled in brilliantly,” Bradley said.

Despite its horrifying beginning, Bradley and Pepper’s story turned out to be both heartwarming and inspiring. Well done Pepper!
