Netflix Introduces New Must-Watch Show About Guide Dog Puppies

It’s time to watch Netflix more than ever. While there are too many reasons to watch Netflix, it now spoils us with some heartwarming documentary about one of our favorite things, dogs! But not just regular sweet dogs; the brand-new documentary is all about adorable puppies training to become guide dogs.

As if we weren’t addicted enough, Netflix introduces an incredible documentary that will make you be obsessed, “Pick of the Litter”.

Besides being a dose of adorableness, they take an important role in making people with visual impairment’s lives much better. The sweet pups support and guide them everywhere they need.

Moreover, they are great friends and loyal, and they offer lots of joy and love to their human companions.

With that, Netflix wanted to honor the hero youngsters, so it has lately introduced the new documentary that shows us the journey of how they become guide dogs. 

The film’s official synopsis said: “Pick of the Litter follows a litter of puppies from the moment they’re born and begin their quest to become Guide Dogs for the Blind, the ultimate canine career.”

“Cameras follow these pups through a two-year odyssey as they train to become dogs whose ultimate responsibility is to protect their blind partners from harm,” the film’s official synopsis added.

Continued, “Along the way, the dogs meet a community of dedicated individuals who train them to do amazing, life-changing things in the service of their human. The stakes are high and not every dog can make the cut. Only the best of the best. The pick of the litter.” 

Born into the same litter named the “P” their names start with P; Potomac, Poppet, Phil, Patriot, and Primrose.

While not all of the puppies make the cut, those who didn’t pass will go to a different direction. For those adorable pups who didn’t make it, there are thousands of adoption applications that are being selected carefully, aiming to find them the best homes. The pups are sent to regular lucky families that will shower them with lots of love.

The program has been proved to be successful thus the Guide Dogs for the Blind gets around 1,100 applications each year. Some, even wait for years to be assigned with a guide dog.

Those who get the guide dogs help are happy with their new companions and surely enjoy all the things they can do.
