Mother Lost Her Dog And Found Him In Her Toddler’s Crib

“I gave him a home but he gave me so, so much more.”

Generally speaking, one of the worst nightmares for every pet owner is not finding your pet. The helpless feeling that runs through your body is horrible since it doesn’t have the ability to contact you and let you know where it is.

Kristin Leigh Rhynehart from Raleigh, New Jersey wandered around the house one day and realized she couldn’t find her beloved dog, Raven. He was adopted 10 years ago and become an integral part of their family. He’s the most friendly, loyal, and affectionate dog, and he has brought nothing but happiness and joy to their home.

She was looking after him all around the house it seemed like he just disappeared. She started to go over everything she did the that day and assumed she might have forgotten the door open. Rhynehart stepped outside to look for her pooch in the yard, but he was nowhere to be found.

When the worried mom went back to the house and checked on her toddler daughter in the crib, she saw something shocking. Rhynehart opened the door, and her heart was melting to see her furry companion, Raven, asleep by her daughter’s side.

She had to take the camera out and film the adorable scene. Luckily she shared it with the world on Facebook, and now we can also enjoy the most angelic moment.

She wrote alongside the Facebook post: “That moment you can’t find your dog, and you even go outside looking for him… Only to walk in the house and find him snuggled up in bed next to your toddler.” The proud mamma added, “People that say ‘money can’t buy happiness’ have never paid an adoption fee.”

The sad reality is that more than 2.7 million adoptable dogs and cats are being put down every year for the shelters are over-occupied, and people still buy dogs from breeders.

Thank you Rhynehart for sharing this heart-warming video.
