Crosby is a loving Golden Retriever who loves all the creatures in the world. He grew up with a few animal siblings, but when he lost two of them, he felt there was a hole in his heart that he needed to fill in some kind of way.
The family-oriented dog lost his cat sibling, and just a month later he lost his best canine companion, they knew each other since Crosby was eight weeks old. It first seemed as he was ok being an only pooch, but the opposite was true.
When Crosby’s owner came home one day, he expected to have the exciting, welcoming moment in which his doggo jumps around and is ecstatic to see his owner. But instead, his dog went straight to business and urged his dad to follow him to the bathtub.
As he came closer to the bathroom, he heard a cat sound, and when he stepped in, he was shocked to see a little kitty. The dog owner had never seen this cat before, and he wondered how he even got there.
Although he had a doggy door, there was no way that the little kitten walked up the stairs for he was too tiny. And then everything became clear, Crosby brought his little feline friend into the house and put it in the bathtub.
The Gloden Retriever missed having furry siblings and so when he found a suitable companion he took it home.
His human companion asked the neighbors whether they knew something about the kitten, but apparently, she was an orphan kitten. The mysterious feline was taken to the vet clinic to check whether she had a microchip, but she didn’t.
They discovered she was four months old and already spayed.
It was important to the vet to notify Crosby’s owner that if he took the kitten to the shelter, she would be euthanized since the shelter was full. He knew he wouldn’t put her in the shelter or send her to the streets and so he brought her back home to Crosby.
Doggo was on cloud nine for his dad agreed to keep her. That night he slept by her side, happy to have a new companion to share his life with.
These days, the undivided duo enjoys each other’s company and spend every nap together.
