Bachelor Party Turns Into A Puppy Rescue Mission Following A Surprise Visit From A Stray Momma Dog

When these 8 guys drove down to celebrate their best friend’s bachelor party deep in the woods of Tenessee, they were sure that nothing could change their plans and stop them from partying as hard as they can.

While bachelor parties are usually associated with a lot of booze and gambling, this party took a very different turn, after the guys received a surprise visit from a starving stray dog.

“We were cooking bacon with the door open. The next thing you know, there’s this dog sitting right at the front door. She wouldn’t come inside, but she sat right there,” one of the men later told ABC News.

After they’ve gained the doggo’s trust and played with her a bit, one of the men noticed that she had dried up milk around her udders. This raised their suspicion that she recently gave birth.

The men followed the pooch into the woods and reached a spot she seemed protective over. Upon further inspection, the men spotted a small hole in the ground. When they’ve peeked inside, they saw a pair of adorable puppy eyes staring back at them.

And thus, the rescue operation began: “We set each pup individually down in front of her, and she nuzzled their faces, and she checked out the pups, and to the person holding them, she gave the look of ‘It’s OK, I trust you,’” one of the men later recalled.

The puppies were covered in fleas, so the men took them and their mother back to the shack, to bath and feed them. They were surprised to see how healthy they all looked, in spite of their mother’s condition. One of them later told ABC News that – ”The mom had given the pups literally everything she had.”

After their beer fund turned into puppy food fund, all eight puppies and their mother were adopted by the group, and now live only 5 miles apart from one another.

The men are sure that the puppies will grow to be life-long buddies just like them
