A Pekingese Pup And A Horse Become Unlikely BFFs

We’re proven, time after time, that an animal’s love knows no species or boundaries. The adorable and heart-melting case of Vily the tiny Pekingese, and Tristian the horse who became unlikely BFFs, is yet another example of exactly that.
One would expect that a tiny pup like Vily, would be terrified of an enormous horse, who’s more than 15 times his size. Yet, against all odds, the tiny Pekingese and the horse, became close BFFs. As it turned out, the pup (as well as the horse), gave us all a lesson on prejudgment.

Vily’s owner, Bocevski, was visiting her friend, who volunteers at The Horseland Horse Center in Decka Simanovci, Serbia, with her precious pooch. From the minute he laid eyes on the horse, Vily immediately showed interest in the magnificent creature. Bocevski’s friend, who knew Tristian’s kind and loving personality, encouraged her friend to introduce the two to one another. “While I was visiting the Horse Centre a friend of mine wanted to introduce her horse to Vily and a friendship was born between the horse and the dog, they are friends now,” Bocevski later told Yahoo News.

As soon as the two were introduced, the horse immediately lowered his head and gave the pooch a nice friendly head rub, that was answered with an endless shower of kisses and licks from the pooch. AWW.

We could all learn so much from the animals’ ability to see past race, color, species, and other differentiating factors and connect with other souls without any boundaries or limitations.
